With many new trailers coming out to hype the shit out of movie goers, you may reconsider watching movie trailers by reading this essay/warning.

“Why do you mean by that?” you said to a certain person.

Because movie trailers are not a piece of experimental art anymore, those trailers nowadays are just bland, generic and atrocious pieces of nothing more but a gimmick to make people extremely (if I mean extremely) hyped up all the time.

Just look at the trailers for any movie in any genre from any medium, live action or animated. Play the trailers side by side and compare. As you noticed that the trailer is similar to the other one, it feels like it's a trend where they have to recycle the editing style from the previous trailers to make this one look the same thing and put it in for a very different movie.

Take this one example, for animated films, a trailer for "The Angry Birds Movie" or "The Peanuts Movie" and put it side-by-side with the trailer of the flop that made us all scream “Stop all those sequel bullshit” with "Ice Age: Collision Course" or for live action films, put the most famous trailers (i.e The Dark Knight, inception, etc.) or trailers for bad movies like "Pixels" and then compare side-by-side with the other (i.e "Ghostbusters 16", "Trans4ormers", "Fant4stick", Any Marvel Movie, Warcraft, etc). Did you notice? It's different movies that have a trailer (or trailers) that were edited the same way as for the previous one. (It's kind of lazy, you know.)

So overall the trailers nowadays are nothing more but a click bait that tries desperately to get people attention by editing the trailers the same way.

And to add the insult to that, it was not edited by film studios or directors, but it was done by those amateur editors from a guru marketing company.

To describe how amateur editors is, imagine if a 5-year-old wanted to recreate the trailer for Inception or a Transformers film by copy and paste the editing style to make a trailer for a different movie and there you go.

The one thing that amateur editors are lazy and dumb is the one simple answer that leads to the problem, they didn't know how trailers work as an experimental piece of art or how to edit trailers in a very different kind of editing style.

It's like if those dumb teenagers are trying to edit something that they didn't do editing before, like they are new to the film business and they didn't know how making films work as an art form; so what they would do, because they have to do tests at college, is to watch a movie trailer, then recycle the movie trailer's editing style just so they would finish it quick and easy.

Because movie trailers nowadays were trying to compete to see how big could a blockbuster would by hyping the shit out those people by purpose, like abusing the hype train for something that would make everyone aware of the part of the marketing. And I'm not the only one who hated and aware movie trailers, there are a couple of articles that focuses on any problem that would a make the trailer worthless.

“But Wait!” you said to me, “You missed an important question, Why the hell would the moviegoers fell for those movie trailers?”

Simple, the marketing campaigns are trying to shove out all of those 'important' things that were in the film to make it more of a marketable big budget summer or whatever seasonal blockbuster by treating film buffs and geeks like big dumb monkeys.

It means that if they have to hype the film by treating them like idiots, they to either lie or give all of the details away, as in, spoiling the entire film.

The perfect examples of marketing campaigns that treated people like dumb, where Sony's infamously bad yet controversial films, Pixels and Ghostbusters 16, Duncan Jones' Live Action Adaption of Warcraft, and other examples that made movie trailers a bad name to the public, or as known for as one of the slums of the internet.

With the new genetically edited full-length trailers coming out like 2017’s “The Mummy” with Tom Cruise and Micheal “I am going to rehash the same plot from my previous sequel to make it more epic up to eleven” Bay’s “Transformer5: The Last Knight” coming by, there is one recommendation to reconsider watching them, avoid them like the plague and be a better person.

If you don’t follow my advice, you will face the biggest disappointment/letdown of your life and it’s your fault you made the 2nd wave of CGI-fx-heavy big budget blockbusters happen by the hype of the trailer, as in, you are turning the Hollywood industry into a battlefield; It is your fault to ignore critics to defend a franchise that was made by a studio in an identity crisis for some stupid reason.

And it is your fault that you made the CG looked like it was rushed out into crap because of stupid executives thought that with success of such films like “Cameron’s Avatar” and ”Marvel’s The Avengers”, they think CGI-ing everything in a live action film is better than making 50% of the practical effects and 50% CG effects for an average blockbuster.

So in order to save hollywood from dying is to stop a certain francise that was gobbling money all the time.

And all you can do, when the first trailer for “Transformer5” come out on December 14th, is to downvote the trailer on YouTube and say that you will not watch the same old shit again just like “CoD: Infinitive Warfare”.

It's Official: The Podcast has found it's new name.

It’s official, I have a new name for the podcast and it will be called “Cine-meh-atic Trainwrecks”

I have thought hard about naming the podcast, but luckily all thanks to the people on TAY, I think I had found the name for the podcast.

So now with that done, it’s time to pick a movie for the pilot of the comedic commentary/riff Video/Audio podcast.

The Candidates are:

Clash of the Titans 2010: The Razzie-nominated film that truly dishonors Ray Harryhausen’s Final Film.

Evolution: It’s Ghostbusters, but replaces everything supernatural with aliens with David Duchovny of The X-Files.

Transformers (aka, Bayformers): The 2007 film that spawned sequels that rehashed the same movie over and over again.

Jurassic World: The movie that people cried out “All hail Raptorlord Pratt!”

The Angry Birds Movie: The animated love-it-or-hate-it film that doubles as a bad acid trip of weirdness.

I have an idea for a project.

Okay guys, so I had just recently thought out an idea for a project outside from Popped-In Movies.

I think about to make an Audio/Video Podcast that focuses on Comedic Commentaries/Riffs on films, games or something in particular.

I know that sounds simple on that concept, but I had just felt like trying to experiment on something interesting.

I got permabanned on 4chan for a crime that I did not commit.

Hey guys, I got some bad news to you that I'm completely permabanned for a crime that I did not commit, why? I don't know, I think it was because of a troll who is trying to frame me for child pornography.

Read the following statement about the false ban:

The Fears of a World War: 15 years after 9/11, the ongoing struggle and violence continues. #IAmFreedom

15 years ago, we have seen the terror of the planes crashing the world trade center, with one plane crashed one tower while the other was collapsed by two planes crashing by.

Now, years pass and the world looks different ever since after the 9/11 attacks in 2001.

Now we have to see those innocent people getting killed in such horrible crimes that would eventually be part of a 15-year terror between the people and the criminals that were killing them in the aftermath of the attack.

We have seen London getting bombed in a subway; African Americans get killed by the police; France getting under attack by ISIL; A Florida gay pub that ended up suffering the loss of 50 people in a bloodbath and even an Aurora movie theater getting attacked by a psychopath who hates his own humanity.

15 years into the 21^st century and the world were awful than ever before after that attack that truly began that century.

And now, we are going onto the road to the end of all wars that is WWIII and so far we have seen those horrible mistakes that we have done in the past and I hate to say the dreaded words that will put the people in a panic but…

If we don’t change and repair the world than it used to be, then Word War III has already begun.

Yes, readers you have read clearly, this war has already begun and we are steps away from another 9/11 attack, but this time it would be worse than the previous attack.

Just imagine if the terrorists are grouping up a large-scale attack in 13 cities on the eastern USA and try to kill as much than 350,000 people getting slaughtered, executed, and even gunned down to death while the new trade center was being bombed down to the ground.

After that, we would lose the said 13 cities to the terrorists so they could put the captured people as slaves and put their lives in danger.

That piece of imagination/vision is more horrifying than the attacks on 9/11, 2001, and do we never let this attack happen?

If you had said no, then listen to all people who are concerned here, if we don’t let this attack to ever happen to North America soon, then we are doomed to die under the terrorist’s own sword.

We are living in a dystopian nightmare and our fears are turning into reality and if we prevent this from ever happing again, then it would be the very first big step to getting the world off from that living nightmare that is dystopia and put this to the better place that is the dream of peace and freedom, a place that was the utopian future.

If we are going to change that world to a beautiful future, then it’s time to get this dream happening.

We will help get America its voice of freedom, unity, and dream back to the balance and get the world the dream that it deserves.

It’s time to make this dream a reality and make America and the world perfect again.

Hey, Guys, I like to tell you that I have started production on the first episode of Popped in Movies, but….

Movie Crashing Quest

It’s been a while since my first attempt to host a quest on 4chan and now I have done my second attempt to host a quest and it was successful.

Recently, I have created a series of quests that asks the question, what if you could play along in a movie like an RPG then ruin it for the fun of it or maybe if you could send a character or anything else to another movie and crash it in here. The idea was just like Film Reroll, but with an extra spice in it.

Long story short, I have been working on a Crazy Impossible Osu Beatmap of Sadistic.Music Factory, My little re-edits of Blockbuster Buster’s  Angry Birds Movie Review (To my opinion on the movie, The Angry Birds Movie was decent and okay, no big deal here),The Mr. Enter Reviews of Norm of the North and Dorbees and possibly maybe IE.

Now with that done, let me tell you about my fun idea.

You see, while I was doing the production on the first episode, I have one thought in my head; What if I could write a story through multiple perspectives via character blogs and twitter accounts with interaction by the readers.

Let’s imagine if Judy Hops, Aang, Hatsune Miku, Shaggy, Dean Winchester, Abby Sciuto and Sue Syvester have their own blogs and twitter accounts to tell the entire story through different perspectives.

I know that sounds weird or stupid, etc. but I had just feel like making a story that also doubles as an experiment.

Very soon that idea would become a reality once that I have thought out the plot.

For now, I am watching The Crashing of Evangelion grow on 4chan as the quest progresses, so stay tuned for more updates on the blog as it progresses.

The Update Post: Progress of the Current Projects #1

Hey Guys, as you know by now that I am working a new pilot for the web series, BUT, there are going to have changes here.

First, It’s no longer named Movies In-Depth anymore, I decided to change its name because I think that word wouldn’t make any sense whatsoever. So in result, I have changed the name and made a new logo of the series.

And Second, I have decided that I have to review a movie for the pilot. I won’t spoil the surprise for you, but I will leave you a hint that it involves about an artifact that was a dagger with a special power and it has to do with time.

Other Projects like IE has become a side-project, so in case you worried that it’s dead or anything else, it’s okay, IE is not going to be cancelled anytime soon. Right now, IE is at the point that the articles are being worked on, and the demos and patches section is not yet built as so for the What’s New Section.

So stay tuned for more screenshots as IE continues to progress.

As for anything else, I have not opened my patreon yet, but it will be once the 2 video are out.

Oh, did I said 2 videos? I mean I will plan to post the episodes every Monday and Friday.

And yes, I have planned to make the 2^nd episode once the first one complete. And here’s another hint but this time it’s for the 2^nd video that it has to do with the host city of this year’s Olympic Games, I think there was an animated film that was centred on this city that was released 5 years ago.

So with that done, I hope you have known more about the current state of the projects, I have really worked hard making those things and hope that the projects would be done in time.
